Presenter: Goldy Gorelick LCSW
Goldy graduated from Adelphi University and has a private practice in Lakewood, NJ. Goldy is a certified Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist and Supervisor. She is the director of the Jewish EFT Institute where she continues to teach and spread the EFT model. Goldy has been an active participant in a number of EFT training events such as the Externships and Core Skills trainings. She has participated both as a homeroom director and supervisor. Goldy has extensive experience in education with over twenty years as a high school teacher and an adjunct professor at Concordia College. As such, she has a unique ability to reach and connect with an audience and provide a highly collaborative learning experience. She is an engaging speaker who has lectured at multiple venues.

Psychologists (introductory level), psychoanalysts, social workers (beginners level), MFTs, counselors, creative art therapists, chemical dependency counselors (beginners level), educators, and nurses.
Workshop Description: This training will introduce you to the leading model of couple therapy.
EFT has been validated by over 20 years of empirical research.
EFT is an evidenced based model, with research showing that over
75 percent of couples utilizing EFT can effectively change their
relationships from one of suffering and pain to one of recovery and healing.
This workshop is held in facilities in accordance
with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

10:15 -10:30 – Break
10:30 -11:30 – Emotions as process, Negative Interactive Cycle (demon dialogue)
11:30 – 12:30 –EFT in Action (simulated couples therapy)
12:30 – 1:30 – Lunch on your own
1:30- 2:00- Couples therapy debriefing
2:00 – 2:30- Break out into small groups to practice cycle moves
